We had a great 2 days stay at Dunroamin Barn Lodge with our dog. Perfect location for visiting Loch Lomond and Aberfoyle areas. The lodge was fantastic, best 2 nights sleep we have had in ages! We need to find out where the beds are from! The bath was a lovely touch in the front area! Would recommend and would return again! -

Our stay here was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland. We were looking for something quiet and peaceful, and this place delivered exactly that and more. Our lodge had everything we needed, the bed was so comfortable I honestly just wanted to sleep all day)). There was also a lovely fireplace, which made the evenings extra cosy, I loved lighting the fire and just relaxing. One of my favourite parts was the beautiful animals: the Highland cows, the lovely goats, the chickens, and even … More the dairy cows at the nearby farm. As someone who loves animals, I really enjoyed spending time watching and interacting with them. They don’t come up to your lodge, so there’s no disturbance but if you’d like, you can go see them and it’s such a joy.Another very important thing for me was that my pets absolutely loved it there too. It was peaceful, safe, and they had plenty of space to feel comfortable, which made our stay even more special.Magdalene and her husband were such warm and caring hosts, and all the guests we met were so respectful too. The lodge itself was thoughtfully set up, I loved the bathtub, the bath salts, and the bubble bath. I even prepared a relaxing bath for my mum on our last night, and she slept straight through until morning, which meant so much to me.Check-in and check-out were very easy and smooth, which made the whole experience even better. A big heartfelt thank you to the hosts for organizing everything so well. -

My wife and I stayed here one night coming from Edinburgh on our way to Glenco. We are here in Scotland from the USA for our 10 year anniversary. This cozy little getaway was exactly what my wife wanted with access to watch cows frolic in the field. We ate pizza from a local place nearby and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We would definitely recommend this stay to any friends and family. -

Absolutely brilliant lodge! Second time visiting! Only 1 night this time but was our first choice! The setting is fantastic, as is the location! Has everything you need and the chickens running around is just great! If you do decide to stay here look up the saffron Indian restaurant the food is excellent and they deliver! The eggs we got are absolutely fantastic fresh and taste amazing! All in all recommend this place 100%! Ohh the bath is fantastic with plenty of hot water and bath salts..it is … More the ideal relaxing location! -

We chose to stay here as we were attending a wedding in Killearn a couple of miles away, it was easy to arrange a taxi. We are glad we made a weekend of it as Dinroamin Lodges is a lovely peaceful place to stay. The lodge was very well equipped and nicely decorated, exactly as pictured and the bed was super comfy. There are far reaching views in every direction and it was relaxing to watch the farm animals, both on site and the cows in nearby fields. The owner answered any questions and was attentive … More at the same time as observing our privacy. We would definitely recommend. -

Beautiful morning views over the green pastures. The host was kind and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting west Scotland. -

Very romantic and cozy lodges with fully equipped kitchen. We loved the highland coo neighbours! The remote, quiet location is great but obviously requires a car because not much in walking distance. -

We had a lovely stay at Barn Lodge! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the large windows let in plenty of natural light, offering beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. It was a peaceful setting, and we had a great night’s sleep. The lodge was well-equipped with everything we needed. The shower is fab! However, privacy was a bit of an issue. The bath, which was one of the main reasons we chose this lodge, is surrounded by glass windows facing into the lodge. During the day, people would … More stop by to see the cows in the nearby field, and there were also dog walkers passing close by, making it difficult to fully relax with the curtains and blinds open. While there is a net curtain, it doesn’t provide complete privacy, especially in the evening. Because of this (and not having brought swimwear), I wasn’t able to use the bath as I had hoped.Overall, it’s a beautiful place to stay, but if privacy is important to you, it’s something to keep in mind.Edit: like the owner says, it is not a public walkway and there are a few panels of fencing that other guest can walk round to visit the animals 🙂 -

Great lodge near Loch Lomond. Very beautiful views from the lodge, and the lodge itself was very nice and modern. It was perfect to visit with a dog as our lodge had a fence around the garden. Only one issue I would say is that there are no places to walk straight away from the lodge, you have to always take the car to go somewhere even for a short walk. -

Great place to stay and super dog friendly (I struggle to find places that will accept multiple dogs). The huts are well kitted out, clean and comfortable. The fenced off garden area was really handy for the dogs. Can’t wait to stay again! -
